Camp Cosmic

Camp Cosmic is a recurring gathering that emerged from the inner core of SOMA. It is not an event in the traditional sense, but a shared space in which time slows down and attention shifts back into the body.

Over the course of three summer days, a small group comes together in nature. We live outside, cook together, sit by the fire, move, rest, create and simply spend time without pressure or agenda. Mornings often begin quietly — with movement, breath, simple rituals — before the day opens into long phases of painting, drawing, listening to music and being present.

Camp Cosmic is about embodied experience. About sensing instead of performing. About being in the body rather than in the head.

Art emerges naturally in this space — drawings, paintings, objects, spontaneous ideas — not as finished products, but as expressions of inner states.

The process matters more than the result. Creativity becomes a way of listening inward, not of performing outward.

In short...

Camp Cosmic has become a quiet but powerful pillar of SOMA. A place where values are lived rather than explained. A space that reflects what SOMA stands for on a deeper level: awareness, embodiment, creativity and human connection.

Equally important is the shared experience. Camp Cosmic is about connection — to nature, to the body, and to each other. Conversations and shared joyful moments deepen the understanding of our group. Presence is the common ground. Over the years, this has created a strong sense of trust, friendship and community.

Camp Cosmic is not about escaping reality — it is about returning to it, fully embodied.
